Ethiopia - Gidey, Lima / (Apricot, Oolong & lemon)
- Heirloom varietals
- Washed process
- 1840 - 2130 MASL
The Coffea plant flourishes in Ethiopia, being grown for cultivation and simply growing in the wild. 1000's of varieties are naturally growing, with the majority not being documented. We simply refer to them as Heirloom. These varieties that are home to Ethiopia have the potential to produce very interesting and high quality flavours, which is elegantly highlighted in this crop from Gidey.
We have found this coffee to be showing flavours more commonly associated with tea, very delicate and subtle. Notes of Oolong, bergamot, lemon and apricot gently making an appearance in the cup.
